MELAN Solettificio was founded in 1996 when siblings Elisio and Laura Stoppo took over the family business, itself founded in 1964. They focussed on production and marketing of insoles for men’s, women’s and children’s footwear, in Texon, chlorophyll and leather.
Adhering to the philosophy of product quality, we also produce insoles in Goodyear Flex.
Our strong point has always been our research into quality and innovation and investing in new generation machinery. This is how we develop passion for our brand that’s Made In Italy.
OUR SERVICES
DESIGN STUDIO
All production processes begin in this section, from the choice of materials to the finishing of the insole, using CAD software specific to footwear design.
SHAPING
A wide range of templates allows us to obtain the most precise shapes starting from the prototype. In production, we use the best machine presses operated by highly-trained personnel.
MACHINE CUTTING
We use CAD/CAM machine cutting tools for our insoles. This provides the highest possible precision from the first insole to the last, in a consistent time-frame.
MACHINE ASSEMBLY
When joining heel inserts and insoles, we use high-precision machinery which allows for very fine adjustment and the joining of insoles and heel inserts of various sizes and shapes.
QUALITY CONTROL
Our entire manufacturing process is scrupulously controlled and supervised by highly-trained personnel.
